HAKI Access Launch New Access System in 2023
New to the access market for 2023, HAKI are excited to present an innovative new system designed to complement our existing range of access solutions by providing a quick to install and lightweight suspended access platform targeted for inspection and other light duty repair scopes.
Customers who manage structures with difficult to access areas such as pipe bridges, pipe racks, jetties, conveyor belts, offshore under decks, offshore helidecks and road bridges will benefit from the features of the HAKI Underdeck System.
HUS is designed to sit alongside TechniSpan to offer a complete range of suspended access systems suitable for all structures, scopes and customer requirements.
The customer benefits are;
- Industry leading installation rate (60m2+ per shift) - reduces labour costs
- Low "self-weight" of system of around 25Kg/m2 - less weight on host structure
- Minimal components - reduces costs and manual handling
- Relocatable suspension chains - zero contact points at end of scope
- Compatible with traditional and system scaffolds - allows for multiple working lifts, encapsulations and deals with obstructions / deck penetrations easily and safely.
The system has been designed to be installed by either rope access technicians, scaffolders, or a team comprising of both and can be erected with work positioning methods or while working in fall arrest.
The system uses many existing HAKI system components and introduces a range of new suspension components to provide customers with a quick-to-install, lightweight and cost-effective access solution for their inspection and repair scopes.
HAKI Lite Deck panels are designed to improve the installation rate with a capacity of Load Class 3 (2kN/m2) with all heavier duty requirements dealt with using PCP decking to provide a capacity of up to Load Class 6 (6kN/m2). PCP decking is also used to deal with any required deck penetrations.
