Nick Smith

General Manager

Nick Smith is a former business owner who has been involved across a multitude of different industries, which include the leisure market, food processing and property. 

With extensive working at height, and temporary access experience he has a keen eye for the financial and commercial aspects of the business and has developed them throughout his career.

Nick covers all commercial and overall operations responsibility within HAKI Access.

Kelly Smith

Finance Manager

Kelly Smith fills the role of Management Accountant at HAKI Access. 

Kelly brings with her a wealth of experience from the financial sector, which allows her to maintain control over all cost related facets of the business. 

Kelly’s understanding of HAKI’s ongoing and future projects allows for accurate forecasting and financial management.

Dan Fincham

Project Manager

Dan has successfully transitioned from a Rope Access L3 Supervisor into a Project Management role where he has the natural ability to communicate at both site level and in the boardroom. 

Dan’s practical experience allows for a more detailed and accurate assessment of any work scope.

Malcolm Sinclair

Training Manager, Technical Authority

Malcolm is a highly skilled and well respected IRATA L3 Rope Access Trainer with a wealth of experience and knowledge. 

Malcolm now utilises these skills as the Technical Authority for HAKI Access covering, training, netting design and installation, cradles and suspended platforms and all other Working-at-Height services.

Simon Wall

Project CAD Engineer

With 20+ years-experience in CAD and a background in Structural, Civil & Building Services Engineering, Simon drives HAKI Access CAD system strategy.

He is experienced in a wide range of 2D & 3D CAD software and is integrating the HAKI Access processes with BIM standards to help coordination within all projects. 

He has been involved in a series of global projects ranging from the Queensferry Crossing (Fife), Ferrari World (Abu Dhabi), Queen Margaret University & Edinburgh Business Park (Edinburgh), to the Pulkovo Airport (St Petersburg).

His additional interests, in which he is influencing HAKI’s involvement, include Rapid Manufacturing (3D Printing / CNC) and AR/VR Technology.

James Stewart

Project CAD Engineer

With a passion for self-continuous learning in CAD and Engineering, James joined HAKI Access in 2018. Holding a BEng in Mechanical Engineering, since graduating he has gained experience in structural design and building services including major Edinburgh based construction projects.

Robert 'Rab' Brown

Storeman

An experienced and qualified Stores and Warehousing Operative, with 12 years materials experience, Robert manages all the materials control, and rigging inspection functions with HAKI Access.

In addition, Robert is an IRATA qualified Rope Access Technician and can assist as necessary with projects in the field.
